Is aramid fiber the same as Kevlar®?

Aramid is the broad family of high-strength synthetic fibers, and Kevlar® is DuPont’s well-known brand name within that family. The Peel Stealth is built from real woven aramid fiber — the same fiber family engineered for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. It’s the material itself, not a printed pattern or a coating, so the look and the strength are one and the same.

How is an aramid case different from a carbon fiber case? Does it block signal?

Unlike carbon fiber, aramid is non-conductive, so a woven aramid case is designed not to interfere with your phone’s cellular, Wi-Fi, or wireless charging signal the way conductive materials can. You get the woven, technical look people associate with carbon fiber, with the practical benefit of a material that plays nicely with your phone’s antennas.

Is it as thin as a normal Peel?
